Stopped in for brunch and really enjoyed the food. Asked our server what she recommended to eat and she said "I am gluten free so I don't eat here" ....... I looked at her like a deer in headlights so she followed up with I guess I can tell you some of the popular menu items. The food was great but not at any recommendation of the server. It's totally fine to not eat at your place of employment, especially due to a possible allergy or celiac disease but the delivery of her message was a little poor. She probably should have just said "our most popular menu items are......." The restaurant was very loud and the seating was all very close together but the food made it worth it. The chai tea was great!

All I can say is our breakfast was Delicious! We can't wait to go back! The pancakes were so HUGE and I was impressed with my graham cracker French toast. It did have too much cream cheese for my liking but for those who love cream cheese it would be perfect. The eggs were cooked softly and just the right amount of cheese and the potatoes had flavor. I would recommend going during the week because the weekends are jam packed.

Had a great time this morning at the Troy location. Been to the Detroit location last year for my bday & it worked my nerves with All them people! & something make me sick at that location in the food .. on the contrast, The Troy location was my speed!! Omg JOHN, my bartender & server was so catering & sweet! Just a good guy with great energy !! Had fun & will be back . Macy was nice too! Everyone had a 😊 smile !!!

As a restaurant this place is great but their catering could use some work. Let me preface this by saying everyone I came in contact with was very nice. But as far as service and quality I was a bit disappointed. A few things: When first inquiring about the catering I was told that there is the same service fee whether I pick up the food or if they deliver. That was strange to me. Once I was told that, I asked in 3 different emails for an invoice, and didn’t receive it until the day before our event. Lastly, the food we received was not the same food served in the restaurant. The pancakes were the precooked frozen kind, very similar to Eggos. The hash browns were also precooked in triangles like what you would get at a fast food restaurant and many were overcooked. I’ve dined at Hudson Cafe several times and chose them to cater due to my positive experiences with their food, but I was disappointed with what they provided us for catering. The quality is not the same and I don’t recommend.

My Wife and I had brunch at The Hudson Cafe. We used the online site to reserve a table about half an hour prior to arriving, and we were glad we did because of how busy they were and how many other people were waiting in line. Service was attentive and friendly, helpful with our questions about the menu. The aesthetic of the restaurant is really cozy modern, though the overall atmosphere feels very busy because of the noise. It would be nice if it were a little quieter, maybe from sound dampening panels or softer music (instead of generic pop). The food was excellent! I greatly enjoyed my omelet and gluten free pancakes. My wife enjoyed her fruit waffle. We both loved the breakfast potatoes. Overall, I would go here for brunch again and would recommend it. While the atmosphere isn't *perfect*, the food was really good and the interior is nice. A fun place for a Saturday brunch!
